On Oct. 19th, Mr. Reck will take a group of 30 Humans to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City to see their incomparable galleries of art, an impressive new exhibition featuring the collection of photographer Alfred Stieglitz, and the final days of Anthony Caro's rooftop sculptures.
Want to go? Here are some simple steps how:
1. Pick a partner from our twelve Humanities classes. No one gets to go alone! This way, every person on the trip has someone to talk to and hang with.
2. Fill out a card in class with your and your partner's name. Hand this to one of the four of usby the end of Monday, Oct. 3rd.
3. Your names will be entered into a lottery pool from which 15 couples will be selected.
4. If you win the lottery, get a permission slip from us and get it filled out by your schedule of teachers and your parent/guardian (even if you're 18!).
5. Hand the permission slip with $10 each for the bus (you'll pay for admission to the museum when we get there), and you're ready to go!
